Piccolino Restaurant in Artesia

I got an order to go from Piccolino while staying in Artesia on business. So I can't speak to the table service, but I was surprised and pleased with the food. The Victor's Favorite chicken pasta dish was delicious - I cleaned my plate! Also my garden salad was fresh and tasty. Definitely this restaurant was a pleasant surprise - I definitely plan on stopping at Piccolino again the next time I'm in Artesia.

Nasty food and bad service! Overpriced!I invited some Friends to try this place. It was terrible! I ordered Alfredo shrimp and my other two friends ordered a new York steak and Alfredo chicken. I ended up puking the Alfredo shrimp! It was cold. The four people that sat behind us forty-five minutes after we sat and ordered they got their order before we did. The food was cold and bitter. In the end I paid $80. This place was horrible. We got horribly sick. We all did.

Waitress wasn't friendly and admitted to knowing nothing about wine. Sausage on my Brooklyn dish was outstanding, wife's shrimp dish was just ok. Definite fly problem in the dining area.

I've been to this Piccolino restaurant at least a dozen times over the years I've lived in Artesia and most of the time had a positive experience. Dine in and take out is typically pleasant with average customer service and attention. The pizza is pretty good with thick doughy crust and a sweet tomato sauce. There are a decent amount of options for toppings. The pasta selection is pretty standard with the occasional creative pasta special. Indoor dining is a little cramped but there is a small patio. I've had a few take out orders missing items. I commend their approach to sustainable food but I'm not too confident on the implementation. More than once I've received the "Mark salad" with visibly half eaten pizza crusts disguised as croutons. Obviously this most recent crouton charade has necessitated an up to date review.

Food takes for ever and staff is always very rude. Extremely expensive for a frozen TV dinner

They serve the best lasagna in town

The calamari was crisp and tender, the pizza was very good and the chicken was tasty. The service was attentive and thanks to Thanksgiving, very few people were there.

I've heard nothing but wonderful things about this place so thought i would give it a try. It's small but clean & staff seems happy. I ordered Champagne Chicken. It was AWFUL! Feels like I'm chewing on a shoe. Sauce was way salty. Mushrooms taste like they're from a can. Veggies were over salted. I didn't eat the pasta because it had miranara on it which i don't see why you would serve it that way on the same plate as chicken with white sauce. I would have sent it back, but i don't have time on my lunch break for that hassle. Disappointed.

A great spot to stop and eat! The food is delicious and filling, and it's a comfortable local spot. Wheelchair accessible entry, the bathrooms are behind a curtain of beads and gendered single rooms.

Always good food and pleasant staff... just wish they had bacon for their pizza... Chicken Boloco is always a solid dish.. Baked Chicken Sandwich and eggplant parm can’t go wrong either

They are a great little mom and pop Italian restaurant. They have amazing calamari.... I live that they serve bread with marinara sauce. They are a little pricey but definitely worth it.

Delish visit you won't regret

The chicken fettuccine alfredo was exceptional. They bring Italian bread and marinara sauce to the table while you're waiting for your entree. Service was excellent. This was my first time there but I will be back.

Great cozy restaurant. Good food, wine and staff. Cannolis are amazing! Green Chile Alfredo is delicious.

The service was extremely slow. Especially considering we were one of only two couples being served. Our server didn't seem interested in doing her job. She sat at a table visiting with her friend and looking at her phone. When she finally gave us her attention, it was as if we were a bother. She also used the same rag she cleaned the tables to clean up spots on the floor.The pizza was okay. Nothing special. We asked for extra sauce but our server didn't write it down and ordered extra cheese instead. We won't be returning.

Great food and I love the ambiance of your restaurant. Service today was good, not great, in spite of the fact the server was quite personable. I'll visit again.
